2021 Paddling Calandar
Hi Paddlers,
Check these dates below for paddle events! The first trips will be close to SYC: Smith Slough, Redwood Creek, Westpoint Slough, Gecko Island, Corkscrew Slough.Any suggestions are welcome. Other dates and times can be considerd. If you are interested in group texts to find people to paddle with, let me know and we can put together a buddies list.
If your new to paddling, no problem, everyone's welcome!
If you are interested in exploring other more distant shores, there are lots of options. Let me know your interests.
Saturday, July 31, 2021- Corkscrew Slough, 10:30 to 1:30. Meet at Chespeake Drive launch ramp across from Sequoia Yacht Club. We will paddle east on Redwood Creek towards Corkscrew Slough. Great opportunity to work on your paddling skills and see birds (maybe seals) of the SF Bay. Call Bob for additional details
Saturday, August 14, 2021 - Gecko Island, 10:30 Meet at West Point Marina kayak launch ramp near the boat launch. Paddle out of the marina and depending on conditions, circle around Gecko Island and ride the flood tide back to the marina. Email or text Bob for additional details, see contact info below.
